This object shows Ohm's law, the relationship between changing voltage & current. Use the green slider to change the voltage from 1V - 10V; use the red slider to change the resistance from 1Ω to 100Ω. Current is read from the ammeter in series with the resistor.

Notice what happens to current as voltage is increased or resistance is decreased.

1. Describe what happens to the current as the voltage is increased.
2. Describe what happens to the current as the resistance is increased.
3. Set the voltage and resistance to any values that you choose. What is the value of voltage divided by current? Repeat for a second set of values.
4. What does the ratio of voltage divided by current give you?
